Dom Pedro Victoria Golf Course was designed by the Arnold Palmer Design Company and opened in 2004. It is the most modern and most challenging of the courses at Vilamoura, and its championship credentials are exceptional — having hosted the Portugal Masters on the European Tour for ten consecutive years from 2007 to 2016.
The course plays to 6,680 yards from the championship tees and is characterised by dramatic water features, strategically placed bunkers, and large, fast greens that demand precise approach play. The design is more modern and more demanding than the classic parkland character of the Old Course, and the combination of the two courses provides a comprehensive programme within the Vilamoura resort.
